2nd Annual Figure, Fruit, and Field Artist Retreat – April 2025

Join us for an unforgettable weekend of creativity and community on 204 acres of beautiful Halifax County, Virginia land. The Figure, Fruit & Field Artist Retreat is an immersive three-day experience where artists of all levels come together to create art, share inspiration, and enjoy nature. Explore open fields and forests, participate in guided art sessions (from figure drawing to art swaps), relax with yoga and music by the campfire, and connect with a supportive community of creatives.

Location: The retreat takes place at Collective Spaces (7149 Chatham Rd, Nathalie, VA) – an emerging intentional community space that provides the perfect backdrop of meadows, woods, and open skies. You’ll feel away from it all, yet completely at home among fellow art lovers.

What’s Included: Every ticket includes access to all workshops and activities, primitive camping on-site for multi-day tickets (pitch your tent under the stars!), and two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) to keep you fueled and inspired. • 3-Day Pass (Full Weekend) – Enjoy the complete Friday–Sunday experience. Includes all meals Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast and 2 nights of camping. ($175)
• 2-Day Pass (Sat + Sun or Fri + Sat) – Can’t stay the whole time? This covers two days and one overnight of your choice. Includes meals and camping for those days. ($115)
• 1-Day Pass (Single Day) – Experience one full day of the retreat (Saturday or Sunday, or join Friday afternoon through evening). Includes that day’s meals and activities. ($75) – Note: no camping with a 1-day ticket.
• Volunteer Pass (Full Weekend) – For those who have signed up to volunteer (8 hours of help). Enjoy the full weekend at a special rate as a thank-you. Includes all meals and camping. ($75 – Limited availability – volunteer application required.)
